Cantor, coder, teacher
I was ordained as a Jewish cantor in 2021 by Hebrew College.
I also received a master’s degree in Jewish Education in 2020. For the past several years, I have been working in a portfolio of cantorial, Jewish education, and technology education roles.
Prior to that, I worked for over a decade a software engineer, including Web and User Experience (UX/UI) development as well as database development.
I have lived in Newton, Massachusetts for almost 20 years. I grew up in the suburbs of Hartford, Connecticut. Jewish prayer and music, computers, and building and creating things have been interests throughout my life.
I believe we can use Jewish wisdom embodied in our texts and rituals to create meaning, menschlekeit, and a better world.
